Default Can the K-5 11s be set to 80 ISO ?

I have a K-5 and I have it set at 80 ISO, on the lowest ISO I believe you can set a K-5.

A friend has a K-5 11s and the lowest we can set the 11s' ISO to is 100 ?

Can the K-511s be set to 80 ISO and if so, how does one do this ?

You probably don't remember but in order to get the K5 to use ISO 80 you have to change one of the menu settings so that you can use an extended range of ISO. I just looked it up, for the K5 it's custom menu item 3 - Expanded Sensitivity. I would think the K5IIs would be called something similar. Then you can select ISO 80 up to 51200.

Thanks Mtngal....I did forget. I'm getting old ....although I probably would of forgotten the same thing...20 years ago....but now....being in my 60's... gives me an excuse.

I've passed on your advice to my friend and she will follow through with her K-5 11s..

Thanks,

Les

Hi Les,

You're giving away one of my more useful excuses!

Sorry Scott. I feel like I'm betraying my age peers.
