Default Boston harbor

A few weeks ago Lou (keltech) and I went with our spouses into Boston to take photographs. We ended up at Piers Point where we could see the sailboats coming in and I (the youngest of our group) didn't have to walk too far since my knee had been bothering me.

Let's see if I remember how to link my photos. This first is a small community garden across the street.

One of the larger sailboats that came in.

Every time we go through Boston coming home from somewhere I want a photo of the city at night. But, we never knew where to safely park nor had the time. Lou and Evie shared this nice park with us and the view of the city.

There are more images at http://nhmom50.zenfolio.com/pierspoint the password is "boston".

A really nice series from Boston. 13-18 stand out for the progression into the evening.

Love the skyline at night Patty...and you got the moon in it as well!

Thank you. We were happy to see the moon there. There was only one that I shifted the moon over a little as it was perfectly centered when I cropped to the buildings I wanted in the image. Other than that, it's the only change I made to the photos.

Very nice photos Patty. I also am very much taken with the moon over the evening skyline. Looks like a perfect day to be in Boston.

Patty - So good to see some of your great images again. Sounds like a fun trip, and sure do hope & pray your knee recovers soon.

Each photo shows me a landscape very different from here - thanks for the well-captured details of your region. Will agree that the night sky is a lovely one, but Sailboat is my favorite - very well composed and very nice light on the water and in the sky.
