Default St. Annes Church

Yesterday morning a Canadian cold front sliced through New England-bringing lower temps-clean, clear air-and great clouds. Tried to "change the channel" on the cancer therapy and took her on a ride up the Maine coast. There is a small, seaside church in Kennebunkport-not far from the Bush compound on Walker Point-they have a seaside chapel with wooden benches. A beautiful, quiet place.

Beautiful!

My husband used to do the same thing with me. Every weekend, when I was capable, we went for a ride somewhere. Most times to the coast since it is one of our favorite places. And, actually, Kennebunkport was one of our destinations many times. I've never seen that church. Looks like we may have to go find that one.

Default Kennebunkport Church

Thanks for the kind words-the church is about 1/2 mile before Walker Point-a small gravel road with a tiny sign. Worth exploring.

Great composition and lighting...and those Canadian clouds just seem to 'hang' in the sky.

Your photograph reminds me an Alex Colville picture.
