Default Close Ups With DA* 300mm F4

Things were slow on wildlife side so here is a Dragonfly and a Firebush Flower. The DA* 300mm is surprisingly sharp on close ups and focuses closer ten most 300mm lenses. Gives better distance from living targets like Dragonflies.

Very impressive macros with a non-macro lens!

Just curious - what is the closest focusing distance on this lens?

It will focus to 4.59 ft. (1.4 meters) and a magnification ratio of 1:4.
