Will be "out on the trail" and up in the high country a lot in the next few weeks, so may not have time to check in here much. Hope to have some bright autumn scenic shots to share in a few weeks. Also hope you enjoyed these little details of the early autumn "critters," and that you will share your comments and critique!

Very nice Mole as always, extremely sharp images both your 50 and 100 seem tack sharp. I have been looking for primes on those ranges, I remember you getting several lenses used, what are yours. I have been using mostly zooms.

Jim - You are too kind!

MacBook - So glad you enjoyed the snapshots and the information.

Hans - Nearly all my lenses were purchased used - most from KEH.com (usually bargain grade), and some from the marketplace over at Pentax Forums. To answer your question: 50 is the FA 50 macro, and 100 is the FA 100 macro. KEH had several of these at bargain grade last time I checked. Both are indeed very sharp lenses with very nice color qualities.
