Default Finnish Nature Walks

Hi all! Sorry I have not been around much. Just wanted to share a recent shot I took last weekend. I can't believe it, but after living in the city of Jyväskylä, in central Finland, I just found out that there are about 22 Nature Trails. My wife and I hiked on two this past weekend. The one on Sunday was just breathtaking... You hike through natural paths through beautiful forest, sometime the trails are "dock boards" to walk. You can see everything, forest, marsh lands, lakes, huge cliff.. I just could not believe my eyes. I need to go back WITH a tripod, but for now here is a quick shot. All the best. Ned

Very nice scene, with just a touch of fall starting to show. Looking forward to more of your nature hike shots.

The map looks as though you have a lot of water and/or marshy land in your area.

Beautiful photo.

Beautiful photo.

Thanks for your words. Finland has over 10,000 lakes... here in central Finland, there are so many... Just in the city limits alone there are three huge lakes, one that is over 100 kilometres... And of course, I surrounded by forest Thanks for looking! Ned

Great use of lines and textures! So glad you have found out about all the trails, and looking forward to more great photos of them.
