A wonderful photo. Lighting, colour and composition ...excellent. That K100D is working out fine for you I would say.

Thank you. Last week's trip was the first time I really tried to use it. Still not comfortable but learning.

Welcome to Pentax! You've got a fine camera, and a great eye for composition as well. That little kit lens did a very nice job in your capable hands. Looking forward to seeing more of your work with the new camera.

JJ - Looks like you came to Pentax much as I did - "graduating" from a bridge camera. Now you need to start checking out some of the many amazing lenses available in Pentax mount!

Very nicely done! It's taken me too long to come look at everyone's pictures, and I love the lighting and colors in this one.

The K100 is such a nice camera, I still own mine (though I've sold a later K10, K20 and now a K7). I just can't sell the K100, it can still deliver high quality shots. You shouldn't have much trouble adjusting to it (though I had to read the owners manual a couple of times before I really got the hang of it).

Looking forward to more of your photos.
