Default Sill Branch Ridge

Another quick little autumnal hike - over to Sill Branch Ridge and up Buffalo Mt. And another chance to enjoy the bright colors and cool dry weather of autumn in East Tennessee. Here's a rather typical view from Buffalo Mt across the autumnal valley.

Not just ripe leaves, but a bumper crop of ripe Wintergreen berries. And plenty of wintergreen flavor too!

Autumn is our driest season, so most of the creek crossings were very easy - no wet feetů

Nice series Mole, looking at your shots I can see that I miss so much in my everyday travels, I like the closeups. They remind me that I need to look for more detail in the nature around me.
