Default Even MORE Night Visitors

These ladies sure do love that Walmart apple-flavored corn! I tried turning on the floodlight like I do for the 'coons and 'possums, but it spooked them. So, I had to manually focus in the dark, hence the not-so-great clarity as with the other nocturnal critters. There were three of them but, one kept wandering out of frame.

Very nice, especially since you were manually focusing in the dark. They are certainly pretty, though many I know would not be happy to have them eating in their yards (they do tend to eat ornamental plants often). The last one is my favorite.

I agree with Harriet on the manual focus, nice job. Looks like you are using a wireless external flash, correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks! I used a TTL cable for these but I generally use wireless for most of my OCF stuff. I've just order an Aokatec AK-TTL Radio TTL Flash Trigger. Supposedly, it will provide p-TTL wirelessly. We'll see. I've had others make that claim only to find out they changed the definition of "wirelessly" or some other trickery. And, actually, I'm trying to move away from the TTL thing. For some reason, it just doesn't work right -- mostly over-exposes. I just picked up a Yongnuo 560 III and it's pretty darned nice!!
