Default Ice Storm in Southern Ontario

The ice storm occurred overnight and into this morning. Our roads are clear for travelling but the trees are still covered in a layer of ice.

Read about the terrible storms in the East. As your avatar says...'Keep calm and carry a Pentax' is good advice for today.

Your photographs are very good. We don't often get ice storms out west...and it is different for me to see the subject matter encased in ice.

Hope all goes well and these terrible storms pass fast. I've read that some places (ie; parts of Toronto, etc.) have lost power due to ice damage

We are south of Toronto, across the lake and didn't get as much ice build up as they did. Our power was out for about 2 hours but some areas of Toronto may be looking at 72 hours before the hydro crews can fully restore power.

We dodged that bullet in SE Michigan, the opportunity for ice shots would have been nice but I can look at your great shots instead
