Phesant at -17F
I do still use my Pentax gear, I just don't seem to have the time to get out and shoot lately!

The K5 seems to function fairly well in the cold, took this today during the 3 hours the sun came out, before it became overcast once again.

Beautiful! I miss seeing your wonderful pheasants and other wildlife. Not that I seem to have much time either, life sure can get in the way of our pleasures, can't it?!

Thanks Harriet, I find the in a situation like this with all the weeds, my old manual focus lenses allow me to focus where I want instead of where the camera thinks I should focus. Right now it's not just time, but the weather that keeps me from doing much photography!

Great shot. And, try not to take this the wrong way but you're totally insane for going out in -17 to take photos :)

Well, after -32F it didn't seem all that cold!

Pentax, the cold weather camera ;-)
Great shot in such severe conditions.

Great to see one of your detailed, vibrant photos again! Also great to hear you are surviving the extreme cold!!
