Default February Challenge - Wet

A mute victory, but thanks. "Wet" for this month. Look, feel, taste, touch and more. A lot of ways to go.

Hans - that's definitely wet!

I've been among the missing recently, time is such a difficult thing for me now. I'm trying to make a bit more time for photography, both my own and other's shots. This is will hopefully just a place-holder and I'll take a better shot later on. This is normally one of our big snow/rain months but not so far. We did have a bit of welcome rain this past Thursday, and here's the proof!

My parents retired to Florida about 20 years ago, and we flew down to visit for a few days over the New Years holiday. One day my wife and daughter and I were enjoying a walk on the beach, when we saw these plovers(?) scurrying around among the waves. What an amusing delight they were!

Our poor bathed dog after a jaunt in the ice floe filled Maumee river.
