Default Great Blue Herons Nest Work

Herons were busy making nests on Valentines day in Wakodahatchee Wetlands.

Exquisite images indeed. We can only be green with envy.

Thanks for reminding us that we in the north have to wait for at least 2 more months


Each year I need to find a location right on their flight path to catch them within 70-100 ft away. I was only successful 1/4 of the time. But I just loved the trips to the field hunting them down and sneaking in close enough.

I think in the wet land of Florida that may be easier but not by that much
