Default More Arizona Water Colors

Believe this is a Western Grebe-same blue sky and canyon walls.

A great shot but would be nicer if the bird had his head turned a little more to get a better profile.

Know the feeling; no matter how long you wait or, indeed, request of the bird that it adopts a different position, they just stubbornly refuse!!

Nice patterns in the reflection.

Wonderful color and pattern on the water, and great job on the wide dynamic range - very dark bird with very pale beak!

PS - I believe it's a Coot, not a Grebe...

Thanks-not a birder. Was in my nephews pontoon boat-I was sitting about 3 ft off the water. He was fishing and I was shooting.

Really beautiful. I am looking forward at some point to returning to the southwest. There are so many interesting and scenic places to explore!
