Been taking a lot of Hummer photos,K-3,DA300, Four flashes 1/180 SS, F16-F20.

Some of the best Hummer shots I have seen, that first one is amazing nicely done

Very good. When you say four flashes, what do you mean? I'm very interested in how you got these. Thanks.

In the first photo the Hummer is showing off its gorget.
I use four flashes set to 1/8 power so I can use a slow shutter speed and small aperture and freeze the wings.

So, you arrange four independent flashes around where the hummer will be and they fire as you shoot? You really put some work into these with fine results.

You say you use a slow shutter speed and small aperture to freeze the wings. I'm not quite sure how that works. I would have thought that you would need a faster shutter speed. Can you explain?
