This is the cylinder and front rod assembly of the Chesapeake and Ohio "Alleghany" 2-6-6-6 steam locomotive. It was the most powerful steam locomotive ever built producing 8000 horse power. The shot was taken at the Henry Ford museum in Dearborn, MI. Pentax ist DL with the kit lens. Some minor pp to darken the background.

Great idea for the challenge! Sorry for the last-minute entry, things have been VERY BUSY at the park as we end the summer season...

This little girl appears to be waiting for some transportation along a rural East Tennessee road. We transported her off of the road before she became "flattened fauna!"

K mount refers to the Pentax lens mount. It includes almost every Pentax SLR or DSLR camera and lens ever made. It also includes Samsung cameras. It excludes Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, Minolta and maybe some other manufacturers I am unaware of.
