Default First Impressions of the K5IIs

Went to Watson Lake in Prescott, AZ yesterday to try the new camera. These are the "Granite Dells" surrounding the lake.

I was looking for a small DSLR & it is. A little on the heavy side compared to the Ist DS. Very quiet shutter-incredible amount of user options-will take me a long time to be familiar with it. One interesting option is the digital filter selections-will want to experiment with that. Took about (6) hrs for the initial battery charge-firmware had to be updated which was expected. Still think I got a great deal from B&H-$699 for the body, motor drive, and 64 gig SD card-free shipping.

All shot with DA 16-45 or DA 55-300. Default settings on the camera-ISO 100

Exposures are spot on, but the images look a bit soft on my monitor.

Noticed that also-still have the default settings on the camera-will try that first.
Thanks

Default Figure this out?

[QUOTE=Wingman;1381353]Exposures are spot on, but the images look a bit soft on my monitor.

Images on the camera LCD look great-soft on my computer monitor using Elements 5.0. Really sharp & vibrant using the Pentax Utility on the computer-any ideas-using unsharp mask now.

I only turn it off when I am using a tripod. I have had a K10D, K100D Super and a K7 all with SR and it works very well for my hand held shots.

The colors really look natural. Like looking out a window!
