Default October Challenge Photographer's Choice.

Things are getting a little slow so lets open things up a little so I ask you give us your best shot. This should produce many fine photographs and I hope get more people involved.

As for rules lets suspend the time span for this challenge. Taken with a Pentax or related camera.

As some of you know, I am a newspaper reporter and photo journalist. Saw smoke rising, grabbed Kx and Tamron 18-250, raced to freeway overpass and got the shot.

This is from a couple years ago and remains a favorite. Went to my favorite refuge only to find it totally socked in with fog. As the fog was starting to lift I got this flight of Trumpiter Swans taking off over some American Coots. I like the soft look with the foggy background.

I have been doing some traveling so my main camera has been my Pentax Q7 and my Canon P&S. This was shot with my Q7 with kit zoom

I just took this at Kiawah Island in South Carolina. It is a panorama made of three vertical shots stitched together. I had to play with the waves because they were moving as I did the panorama. Otherwise the rest is pretty much the way it came from the camera. DL with kit lens.

All great images but I like the subtle beauty of BobIr's swans.
