Looks like you hit the lottery-been buying and selling with KEH since the early 90's (35mm days) Back then they had a monthly catalog-how times have changed. Always had good luck with them. Great shots

G'day mate

From the great land downunder, the 'ugly' part of the story does not mean much
However - those images are superb - esp the last one of the turtle and the first couple of the GBH

My recommendation - don't lose this lens
Phil

Great work! I guess ugly is the new beautiful.

Great shots, makes me rethink my staying away from the ugly lenses at KEH. Incredible bargain indeed.

MacBook- So glad you enjoyed the "critters!"

Pb - You are too kind!

Rodney - Thanks for taking time to comment - been a long time since I saw any of your fine photos here. Hope all is going fine for you...

MtnMan - I too was a little hesitant, but had to order a few small parts from them anyway, and the additional $12 was worth the risk. May have to try another UGLY lens sometime in the future...

DMJJR - Must agree that KEH is a great source of high quality used equipment. They still do have an occasional paper catalog - got one in the mail a few months ago.

Phil - Thanks so much!

Biro - If ugly is the new beautiful, I guess I'm getting better-looking!

John - Not sure if this is typical for UGLY lenses, but may also try another one sometime...

Hans - Have had some really good success with several of these old M lenses. Hard (for my old eyes) to focus, but capable of great color, sharpness & contrast.
