Oceanside has a 2000-0' pier-so when you walk about 1/2 way you are where the surfer's start their ride. Really great shooting.

Nice action shot.

My best shots of surfers were taken in Oceanside, but not from the pier. I walked out on the jetty down from the marina, about a half mile or so from the pier. It was great shooting from there because you are lower and closer to the surfers.

Great shot. When I first saw it I assumed you had to be out there with the surfer in order to get that perspective. Turns out you were out there, but you were able to stay warm and dry.
