Default Camp Creek Autumnal Views

One of the easiest high country hikes here in Northeast Tennessee is in nearby Greene County, in Cherokee National Forest along Camp Creek and Firescald Knob. Here are a few views of autumn along this high ridge...

Here is the view from Black Stack Cliffs - autumn colors beginning to fade, and Greeneville TN visible in the distance.

Although autumn foliage was well past peak color, nearby Jones Meadow was still blooming, and late-season insects were feasting. Here a bumblebee and a honeybee were enjoying the white asters.
