Default New (to me) K-50

I just bought a lightly used K-50 on E-Bay. Incredible deal, less than $300 including the kit lens. The first thing I noticed is how well it focuses on moving objects such as my pup running toward me here.

Here she trots out and the camera again focuses nicely.

Colors are nice.

So far I am very impressed. Just have to get used to all the things it can do compared to my DL!!

I went from a *istD to a K3 (well, with a Fuji in between) and it is taking a good while to adapt to all the things it can do. In some ways, it seems to be a bit too much of a good thing, and it is letting me indulge my tendency to laziness.
It looks like you are having fun and getting good results.

Very nice results! Have fun with the camera - it must be a big adjustment. There's something to be said for a simpler camera, but the modern Pentax cameras take really nice pictures.
