Default April Challenge - Showing Motion

For April, let's try "showing motion". Open to any interpretation. Motion of water, animals, people, things, implied motion. All the normal rules apply.

Anyone who hasn't posted before, make this month your first. We're a friendly group. It's fun just to see how people interpret the challenge. I haven't been around much lately. But, every time I check in I see tons of lurkers. Quit watching and join in.

Default Just for laughs !.

Couldn't resist this one ... LOL

Pic doesn't qualify, taken several years back, and not even sure it was with the Pentax, this rascal was at full gallop, and difficult to keep in focus. ... Jack

Always a fun topic. I'll probably change my entry later on, because I've got a couple of other ideas, but thought this one was too funny to not share with someone. I thought it did a good job of portraying the motion of L.A. traffic this particular lunch-time.

In other words, gridlock!

Those are both some major motion. Wow! I'm still thinking what to do. And, wow! 140 views in 24 hours. We should have lots of people thinking about this topic this month and posting. :-)

Default Speeding Swans

Trumpeter Swans...they look so peaceful and serene when floating on the water. In the air,
they're like sleek, fast moving streamlined jets, streaking across the sky.

There's still time to get out there and add some photos to ours here. I see 382 people have viewed this post. Lost of people out there looking. Get out there and shoot!

We did go out today to western NH. A new adventure for us. Finding all sorts of things we've missed all these years we've been here. I had hoped for some water shots of motion. But, all I ended up with were lake shots. Passed a few small water flows, but hubby wasn't interested in stopping :-( Anyway, still time to get something.
