Default A few Autumnal Plants

Autumn is not the end of wildflower season here in East Tennessee, but it is the beginning of the end...

This was a False Solomon's Seal bloom, but now it's ripe fruit...

This was a White Baneberry flower cluster, but now that it's become berries, it's called "Dolls Eyes" instead.

There are still plenty of Great Lobelias blooming in the marshy places.

And several species of Asters in the drier meadows. By the way, "aster" means "star." Can you see the resemblance?
