Default Trading up from my K-x

After many years of great service, I'm moving up from my K-x to a K-50.

Wife was surprised when I quit early Saturday, taking pictures of the Sandhill Cranes coming back at sunset to their refuge for the evening. The quality of high iso, even 400 on the K-x just wasn't very good, so shooting in dim light is only good for the practice of getting BIF.

From the reviews I read the K-50 should be somewhat better. What experience has the K-50 users on the board had? Should be here tomorrow, so will get some first hand experience. And...weather for this weekend is looking good.

Now, what to do with the old K-x?????

I'm using the K-50 and I am really impressed with its low light shots. It also does a lot better with auto white balance than my old DL. Here are some night shots all handheld. First two are at 1600 ISO and the last at 800.
