Default Bird on Kiawah Island

Here are a few shots of birds found on Kiawah Island, South Carolina. We were there in October which is a wonderful time both weather wise and population wise! These were all shot with the K-50 and either the kit lens or the Sigma 100-300.

The first is the Green Heron. Not quite as common as the Blue, but beautiful none the less


The second is the plover. Not sure if its a Wilson or not.


Then the very common Pelican out looking for food



And finally the Egret enjoying something slimy
