Default Snow Day

East Tennessee does not get winter-long snow cover. But we do get a few good snowstorms each winter. Mid January was one of those - we got about 10 inches or more in the valleys of NE TN, and 12 - 20 inches in the higher places. Here are a few scenes from the home park during this recent "snow day."

We also saw many hints of wild visitors - can you see the Red Fox tracks near this beech tree shadow?

And a few more snowy scenes - A black walnut tree "out standing in its field," snow melted and refrozen on twigs, and american holly berries in the snow.
