Default Miscellaneous East Tennessee Scenes

Well, it's been a few months since I had time to stop by and share some East Tennessee images. So here is an assortment. First is a tiny waterfall at Frozen Head State Park, with a bit of Rue Anemone blooming in the foreground.

There were also some Great White Trilliums blooming near the same "mini-falls."

Frozen Head is home to many rich streams - here are a few more waterfalls on up the Panther Branch Trail.

From Frozen Head to Clark's Creek for the next waterfall - lovely Sill Branch Falls in Cherokee National Forest.

You may recall my last hike up to the view of Buckeye Falls - fog was so thick that falls were invisible. Second attempt was more productive. Buckeye Falls was already drying up, but at least we had a clear view across the valley…

Have had many hikes to high places with fine views in the past few months - one of the favorite was this view of Iron Mountain from Holston Mountain…
