Ira,

You feed my appetite to do some shooting! LOL.

I was planning to target this summer to get out with one of our Pentax cameras . . . but squeezed it in at lunch.

We finally had some above 0 tempertures today, so I took advantage of the nice balmy weather and went down to a park around my work.

I'll post some in a thread.

I LOVE how your focus test shot came out, too cool! Love the black and white, need to play with that more.

Default It's DS

I have (2) it's DS's and have had a K10 & K20d. Currently using a K5-lls-my best shots came from the Ist DS!

One more from recently.
I have been using the camera almost exclusively with the 28mm f2.8 Rikenon. I still don’t have the focus screen but the practice I am getting is paying off with more sharp images. I now use spot metering and zone focus when I can and I am getting some acceptable results.

BTW I am hoping to retrieve my old K10D from my son (I’ll give him an Olympus E-P2, better for him anyway). Then is the choice, do I put the focus screen in the DS or the K10D? Decisions, decisions. Old cameras are so much fun.
