Default K-1 with Irix 15mm f2.4 blackstone

Hi everyone, did a round with the k-1 and Irix 15mm 2.4 blackstone. Quite a large and heavy guy but enjoying that super wide big time. Some hdr and a few single shot exposures. Failed to learn how to achieve constant-aperture brackets beforehand resulting in more dof than I wanted for the brighter exposures. It also causes variable flare for the different exposures.

Did a straight shot for this one to achieve vertical lines. In most cases the lines are leaning in too much for correction in lightroom. I might try some of that in my favourite panorama editor which is equipped better for these actions.

The intend was to have the foreground (better) in focus as well.

bicycle at the town hall

Town hall hdr. Big flare in the lower right corner. Constant tight aperture might solve this.

corrected the perspective of a few in panorama tools 'ptgui'. Not so much to make things better but it’s nice to show what happens. Aspect ratio goes out the window or far too much of the photos need to be cropped away. perspective correction can also be done in lightroom but it doesn't retain natural aspect ratio. Having a rectilinear lens to start with makes life a lot easier compared to fish-eye. To correct the latter the pixels and their imperfections get stretched big to achieve straight lines, and then again to perspective correct.
