Default K3II Disappointment

Haven't been here in quite a while-surgery-relatives, etc. Purchased a K3II in early May-have been using my trusty K5IIs for quite a while. Got talked into buying the body and the new 55-300 PLM-thought it would be a lot faster focusing than the original DA 55-300-boy was I wrong-a $1225.00 mistake (for the pair). Camera body is really heavy-tough to carry all day. Worst part is that all my lenses have to be individually micro adjusted for sharpness. Still have to use unsharp mask in Elements. Too late to return.

Have you contacted Ricoh to see if it is a warranty issue. Sounds like the camera is not properly calibrated.
