Hi

I am seriously considering this camera since the Minolta 7D costs almost twice as much. I have one AF Pentax zoom lens (the usual 28-80), but three excellent manual focus (non-A series) prime lenses. Does anyone yet know if the DS will have a procedure to allow stop down metering with these lenses (like the D has).

From what I have read, the *ist DS has the same backward compatibility as the *ist D. I am also considering this camera, however my prime lenses are mostly FA lenses.

Thanks arnelie, I wish PPentax would make more information available on line, such as user guides or manuals for new products. It would make the decision making process much easier.
