Intressted to see pictures taken by the Pentax ist ds (or ist D because they might look similar, or do they?). Does any one have pictures on their website to show? If that is the case please submit link so I can have a look.

Happy holidays

Hello Jonas:

You posted this query in the Pentax forum (which is for the non-DSLR Pentax Models). You'll also find a dedicated Pentax Digital SLR Forum here. I'll move this thread to the Pentax DSLR forum now, where you may get better responses.

In the meantime, you may want to check out the preview of the Pentax *ist DS here (you'll find a sample photos section at the end of the preview). A full review should be completed soon with more sample photos.

You'll also find a review of the Pentax *ist D here, with sample photos at the end:

Try www.pbase.com

Click on "Camera Database", choose Pentax and you will see that there are about 165 pictures available for the *istDS; good luck

Hey Jonas,

Here is a picture that I took with the *ist DS & SMC Pentax-A 1.7 50mm lens.

The only post-processing I did was resize it to (800x532).

You might also want too check out the *ist DS user photos section of pabse.

Hope this helps,

Did you ask him to pose or was he staring you down?

Hey Panzergnome,

He was staring me down... At times I felt as though he was going to jump on me and start defending his turf...

Thanks for all you help guys. Great shoot info_man. Looks like the kit lense does some really good work. Is a default sharpness from the scamera or have you sharpened it afterwards in photshop??? I have heard that you get pretty unsharpen pictures just straight out of the camera.

I will really consider the ist DS but I am thinking of the L lenses of canon. Does Pentax have something smiliar? Anyone knows about their lens collection? Still satisfied with your Krister??
