What would you recommend for a fast 50mm lens on the Pentax *istDS?

Well I only found out after those pics how to use K-mount properly. My first real shots as I got mine when it was already dark. Will post better and sharper shots in a few days.

part from user-review on Cnet.com
( http://reviews.cnet.com/Pentax__ist_...pn=3&ob=0&fb=0 ):
" Pros: I was a bit concerned about the compatibility with old lenses (given all the comments that have been written) but they are so wrong! Put it in manual mode, select the aperture on the "non-supported" ring, press the AE-L button and the camera will stop-down meter and select the correct shutter speed which can then be adjusted on the dial OR select shutter speed, do a depth-of-field preview and it will give a meter reading relative to your current settings. How easy do you want it to be? "

I tried first method and it works
