Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3
http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/len...37&navigator=3

The camera store has it for $2,500AUD and comes with a free 2x convertor (which I already have one anyway). So is it worth the money or not. I think it will be good as i doubt i can afford a 2.8 prime of 300mm or thereabouts.

My 2 other lenses are Sigma, but in some situations i find they have difficulty autofocusing - im not sure why but they often leave me up to focus manually which usually works out faster.
