I found I frequently forgot to switch off my istDS. Does this do any harm to the camera?

By default, the camera will power itself down after 1 minute.

By pressing the shutter button, it wakes itself up allowing the shot to be taken without any noticeable delay giving the impression that it's been left on the whole time.

When I'm out for the day, this is how I use the *istDS, it's much more convenient than switching it on & off every time a shot's required.
