thta's 72dpi at 720 wide and 95k. gets the message across and i'm not worried about someone stealing it cause it's just not going to print that well..

I also have a 28 mm that i can use.. problem is I cant get the damn filter off it- it mustve been dropped and it bent it wierd and i cant screw it off. Ill have to work something out

Anyway: crapping myself taking this shot as i am allergic to them

and you have my sympathy!!! i'm allergic to them also. they're about the only thing in the world i'm afraid of and i do mean AFRAID!!!!

what were you using for lighting? i use a pentax af400ftz and it works well in auto.

just got a sigma 70-300 APO on ebay for $99. it'll be here wed.
it shoots at 1:2 in macro from about 4' . that's plenty of room for the stinging things.

I use my Sigma EF500ST flash with diffuser on, works fine

forgot to say , i also use a diffuser. made mine from the bottum half of a suppliment container. it was very expensive!! hey, it works great!!

Rob, that is some excellent work - thanks for sharing your work and knowledge.

How do you keep 'em steady. Years ago when I TRIED my hand at this I put the stuff in the freezer. But the results as well as the work were horrible.
