igo,

absolutely an amazing image!!!

i was the same way. i fell in love w/the camera all over again when i went digital. me, i'm NEVER going back to film!!!!! it's too much a PITA. with the quality coming from digital there's just no reason for it.

BTW, were you a film pentax fan as i was? also, where was this spectacular image captured.

Hey, I transfered here from Arlington Texas in December.

I've owned 6 Pentax SLRs. I bought several in the early 80's but only ever used the k1000. I've bought 3 more k1000's through the years and swore I'd never used digital as somehow they lack the warmth but by gosh they may just have gotten it right now.

I live in Las vegas. This imagewas taken with the kit 18-55 pressed against the glass on the observation deck of the Stratospjere Casino Tower on the Las Vegas Strip midnight a couple weeks ago.

I'll post more shots as This part of the coutry loves to to stand in front of a lens.

Right now I'm panicing as it seems I've got a chuck of dust lodged on the sensor.

you'll need to blow it out, i use a turkey baster, it works fine. do NOT touch the sensor sheild w/anything. if that doesn't get it pm me and i'll give you some other links to cleaning the sensor shield itself. pentax will void your warranty if they can prove you've tampered w/it.

Thank you so much. This picture is from the strip in Las Vegas. They say digital is "No Cost" capture but it's a lie. This picture cost me 3 months rent. LOL.

Awesome pic! You could probably sell it to the hotel. Would you mind posting the EXIF for the Vegas pic? Haven't really had the chance to try something like that.
