Very natural looking shot and the sharpness is just right.

The underrated lens is overachieving. Looks like a great lens to me.


The last one could use a bit of a crop on the left.

What it all boils down to... do I like the pictures posted?

That's pretty much the way I see it, too. I have two well reviewed but under respected cameras now (Panasonic FZ10 and the *ist DS). I'm a firm believer that it's the "eye", not the equipment

Grovy. You caught a glancing sun so you got some contrast. If you could drop the thistle into the bottom third for rule of thirds and get the bee to show other than his a... I think you'd have a prize winner. LOL.

Much better. Flowers like this if you just click the DOF preview you will be able to see how sharp it is before you take it
