I just purchased on ebay a package consisting of, among other things, a "Takumar A" 28-80 and 70-200 lenses. The package was, it was claimed, from an estate sale. The seller claimed to know nothing about cameras and photography so there was no point asking any questions. The package price was low enough that I am not worried even if the lenses are low quality.
They come with a P3N 35 mm camera, cases and manual. The P3N was introduced in 1989 (hence a bayonet mount) and an "A" should indicate that everything but the autofocus should work on my DS. I gather Takumar was a lower cost line of lenses at that point in Pentax's history.
Does anybody know anything more about these lenses?
Thanks in advance.
