Which bayonet is this? It described as:

SONAGAR 1:3.5 135MM CAMERA LENS VIVITAR, PENTAX

It had a lens cover "Asahi Pentax." Wonder if the guy made a mistake because of an incorrect lens cover. Are there old pentax bayonets or some 110 it could be? It's clearly not made formy Pentax, but it'll take a pic if you hold it up!!

And I get alot of grain with low-light pics, at 200 ISO. The noise redux is on, when does it actually work?

Thanks for all the help so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can almost see the oil on the blades ...

does it mate w/the pentax, can you mount the lens? if not we're wasting our time. what ever, it's a POS and i'd toss it or take it apart for the fun of it. got a POS from ebay for 1.75. it's in parts right now. hopefully will be able to use the parts for something.

NO, it doesn't mate with the Pentax! Re-read my first post! I'm asking what it mates to.

Why?

I bought it off ebay under the the title in my first post. I'd like to know if the seller made a mistake, or it actually does mate to a different Pentax, ie an old 110.

If he did make a mistake, I'm going to have a talk with him ... I didn't pay much at all,but hewrote it was in excellent condition- Well, when the blades look like the exon valdez spill, it's NOT excellent!

I posted here because I know most of you guys are uber-intelligent when it comes to SLR's and could ID the bayonet in an instant!

Maybe you could talk to me about noise, though.

Even if the lens fit your DS it would not be worth keeping!

Are you talking about noise while holding this lens up to your camera or just noise in general at ISO 200?
