finished a 24 LED ring light. this works better than the 16. i may try a 32 but have to figure out how to wire it.

The last one is a definite hands down winner of a shot. Well at least for me it is.

actually, i just checked the exif on that image and it seems i shot it with fill flash instead of the ring light.

it's a robber fly eating a wasp. i'd never seen anything like it before.

No way. For the dragon fly - how did you manage to make it stand still and get that close to boot.

these guys will usually return to the same roost or very near if you are just patient enough to wait. that's the word w/most macros--patience..

the shot of the robber fly was taken w/the kit lens. i think it's well worth the $$.
