Try getting a differnt angle of the houses. Plain horizontal front on shots tend to be a bit boring - get down so you are looking up slightly, maybe on on of the corners, then try tilting the camera about 30-45 degrees (normally called a dutch angle). Other than that they are fine. :-)

Some of the pictures seem a bit darker than they should, also some seem to be lacking a bit in saturation. The *istDS can be adjusted for those factors. IMHO I think it would be good to try to increase the saturation and contrast, and maybe tweak the exposure setting a bit.
