I have the kit lens, the 28-105 f/3.2, and just bought the 50-200. All 3 perform well and deliver crisp photos. The 50-200 is very nice and delivers sharp photos, but is a little slow. But thecompact design is a big plus with this lens. Fits in your pocket if you want it to. The kit lens is better than I expected it to be, and is my most used lens, with the 28-105 next. Can't go wrong with any of them really.I had the sigma 70-300 dl, but returned it for the 50-200. I found the sigma prone to "ghosting" on a lot of longer focal length photos. Might have had a bad one, but am real happy the the 50-200. None of the artifacts showing up in this lens like the sigma had..........thekman.
