Another "Hey Joel", ...what camera body is that in the first picture? Does the camera have a screw mount on top? Call me "krazy", but judging by the location of the strap lug on the body, and eye piece, and settings wheel,it sure seems that-a-way to me.

Wha' can I tell ya,... I`m jus' a curious type-a guy!

Yet another, S`later, JH :G

The camera is a Pentax ist DS DSLR and the two straps are on either side near the top. I am not sure what you meant by screw mount. The lens is Pentax K mount. Which is a Tamron 70-300mm Macro.

The thumb screw on the side is the support arm retainer screw. By loosening it you can adjust the arm in a 360 degree arc. So you can actually have the arm slightly out of line with the camera mount. Comes in handy when you wear heavy clothing.

Ahhh,...now I understand about the handle, very handy indeed!But....how does the stock mount to the camera itself? My old stock mounts via the threaded tripod socket on the bottom of almost all cameras.
