Neither of my FA lenses will go that low... I have an FA 35mm f4 - 80mm f5.6 and an FA80mm f4.5 - 320mm f5.6

are there any other tweaks I could try... I'm having to try this on my ZX-30 35mm film... I haven't bought the DS2 yet...

Boog, do not use automatic exposure, the moon is very bright and the meter will expose for the dark sky. Check out the following sites:

These apply to film or digital, and remember to bracket your shots (over and under expose)
