I was home from work not fifteen minutes and I heard a commotion. I looked outside and saw a hawk sitting on a pigeon (obviously done for). I went back quickly to get my camera and set it at 1600 iso since it was quite overcast and was using the Tamron 28-75mm XR Di LD macro 2.8 lens. I managed to get this shot off and found that the camera does focus quicker since the 2.0 firmware upgrade.

You used autofocus? What??

I would not have risked AF in this sort of situation. Lucky to get that shot off :-)

Noise isnt to bad either
