Pentax FA* 300mm, 1/1000sec, f/11, ISO 400, hand held because I forgot my tripod. The FA* 300 lens is a great lens and it will give very sharp results.

Great shot, very impressive. The lens must be a real beauty as well, definitely one for my wish list, way out of my range right now. How quickly does this combination lock on to your target? This one is super sharp.

Excellent, thanks for sharing.

It locks on fairly fast on large objects, but on flying birds it sometimes locks on the background first and then on the bird in flight.

I got the lens about ten years ago, new and it was $750 then and goes for about the same used on ebay when they show up.

Thanks for looking also!
