Wow three replies! Shift lenses (actually view cameras) are used in product photography also, to get DOF covering the entire item being photograhed and to be able to see the side and top of the item at the same time, but shifting the front and leaving the film plane flat.

I think I encountered an error so that I sent and re-sent the message out again twice without having seen on screen the message had been sent successfully. :-(
