Hi there! I have a Sigma 24-70 Aspherical AF lens. Should I get the DL with the 18-55 lens, or will my Sigma enable me to go for the 'body only' option?:?

Any guidance will be appreciated. Thank you.

That depends on the price difference of the kit and the body only offer. If it is small, I recommend that you should get the kit, as a whole. It is a bit difficult for you to buy the lens alone with that cheap price afterward.

With the 24mm focal, it is marginally usable for wide angle shot but it's okay. But with the 18-55, of course you can get wider angle of view like that of 28mm in film.

I agree with Ricehigh, get the kit so you will have wide angle capabilities (the crop factor on film lenses limits wide angle) and the 18-55 is a pretty good lens, especially for the price.

Add my vote, the 18-55mm is great "bang-for-the-buck". I find that the normal distortion is acceptable, the zoom range approximates the old 35mm standard 28-80 lens, it is light weight, it comes with a nice hood with an access door to allow you torotate filters such as polarizers, and it has the very handy de-clutching AF that lets you fine tune with the focus ring without turning off the AF.

The new two lens kit which includes the DA 50-200mm is looking like a real bargain.
